Dancers that would like to participate in the parade need to register, order a valley point dance shirt or tank with jean shorts or black bottoms of some kind, or wear a plain black shirt with jean shorts or black bottoms of some kind. The parade starts promptly at 10 am and pick up after the parade will be along Gateway Dr. near the sledding hill.

Fall/ Spring 2019-20 Schedule

Monday 4:15 to 5:00 pm 5-6 Year Kinderdance Jazz/ Ballet

Teacher: Heather Warner

This class includes both jazz technique and ballet technique. Dancers will learn one developmentally appropriate dance in the teacher's chosen style to perform in the Spring recital.  

Monday 5:15 to 6:00 pm 7-17 year Boys and Girls Hip Hop

Teacher: Heather Warner

This class learns a variety of Hip Hop technique and styles. They will perform one Hip Hop dance in the Christmas recital and one dance in the Spring recital. 

Tuesday 3:15 to 4:00 pm 3-4 year Preschool Combo Dance

Teacher: Sheryl Odell

This class includes a variety of dance styles but focuses on Jazz and Ballet Technique.  Dancers will learn two developmentally appropriate dances in the teacher's chosen style to perform in the Christmas recital and the Spring recital.

Tuesday 4:15 to 5:00 pm 9- 10 year Jazz/ Ballet/ Contemporary

Teacher: Sheryl Odell

This class focuses on jazz, ballet, and contemporary dance styles. Dancers will learn two developmentally appropriate dances in the teacher's chosen style to perform in the Christmas recital and the Spring recital.

Tuesday 7:00 to 7:30 Adult Ballet

 This class is a non performing class. There is no costume fee and the cost of the class is different than a regular class (see tuition information). This class focuses on improving ballet technique and muscle strengthening using ballet technique in a variety of levels. Adults are welcome to register for this class, along with children ages 11 and up.  

Wednesday 6:15 to 7:00 pm Approx. 5-8 Year Tap/ Ballet

Teacher: Heather Warner

This class includes both tap technique and ballet technique. Dancers will learn two developmentally appropriate dances in the teacher's chosen style to perform in the Christmas recital and the Spring recital.

Wednesday 4:15 to 5:00 pm 7-8 Year Jazz/ Ballet

Teacher: Heather Warner

This class includes both jazz technique and ballet technique. Dancers will learn two developmentally appropriate dances in the teacher's chosen style to perform in the Christmas recital and the Spring recital.  

Wednesday 5:15 to 6:00 pm 11 - 17 Jr. High/ High School Dance

This class includes a variety of dance styles. Students will learn basic to advanced jazz, ballet and lyrical. Dancers will learn two dances in the teacher's chosen style to perform in the Christmas recital and the Spring recital. 

Thursday 4:15 to 5:00 pm 3- 4 year Preschool Jazz/ Ballet

Teacher: JaKale Park

This class focuses on Jazz and Ballet technique. Dancers will learn two developmentally appropriate dances in the teacher's chosen style to perform in the Christmas recital and the Spring recital.

Thursday 5:15 to 6:00 pm 4-6 year Hip Hop

Teacher: Crystal Fowler

This class learns a variety of Hip Hop styles and technique. They will learn two age appropriate dances. Students will learn two dances. Students will perform one dance in the Christmas recital and one dance in the Spring recital. 


Thursday 6:15 to 7:00 pm 5-10 year Cheer

Teacher: Crystal Fowler

This class teaches the basics of cheer, including chants, some tumbling and a cheer routine. They will perform in the Christmas recital and the Spring recital.

Friday 3:15 to 4:00 pm PreKinder Tumbling

Teacher: Heather Warner

This class is for Prekindergarten students. They will learn flexibility, balance, and new tumbling skills. Students will perform the highlights of their learning in the Christmas recital  Spring recital.  

Friday 4:15 to 5:00 pm Beginning and Intermediate Tumbling

Teacher: Heather Warner

This class is based on ability. Students in this class need to be able to do a somersault (forward roll). Students will learn flexibility, strengthening, and learn new tumbling skills. Students will show highlights of their learning in the Christmas recital and the Spring recital.

Solo/ Private Lessons

Solo classes are 60 minute sessions. The price is different from regular classes. (See Tuition) Soloist learn a dance to a song of their choosing. They attend 6 hour long classes catered to their specific abilities. Soloist perform one dance in the Christmas recital and one dance in the Spring recital. Contact Valley Pointe Dance for scheduling. 

Duets

Duet classes are 60 minute sessions. The price is different from regular classes. (See Tuition) Duets learn a dance to a song of their choosing. They attend 6 hour long classes catered to their specific abilities. Duets perform one dance in the Christmas recital and one dance in the Spring recital. Contact Valley Pointe Dance for scheduling.
